His medical career started in 2009 when he graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University. He later completed a residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, and he also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Binghamton University School of Management in New York.

Dr. Campbell is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and in Pain Medicine, and it is in this latter area that he has become particularly renowned. He provides pain relief and management for a wide range of conditions including cancers, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic face, neck, back and pelvic pain, sciatica, migraines and the results of car and work related injuries.

Dr. Campbell is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the America Pain Society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, North American Neuromodulation Society, American Society of Pain and Neuroscience and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He also serves as an assistant professor at both Touro University School of Medicine and the Roseman University School of Health Sciences.
